Corzine Picks Menendez

Governor-elect Jon Corzine had the opportunity to reach out to south Jersey and name as his replacement someone who resides south of Monmouth or Mercer Counties.

He instead likely will select Robert Menendez, a congressional representative from Hudson County.

I guess the fact that Menendez is a Latino and minority is a nice thing, although I thought we were well passed the point where that even mattered. My concern is what our new Senator will do for us south of I-195. I wonder if Rep. Menendez even knows where Pitts Grove or Shamong are.

More of the same for the corrupt Garden State.
