An overall sorry weekend for Philly sports fans. Losing to the dreaded Cowboys in their house by high double digits is just plain unacceptable.
The Phils shed Ed Wade as GM. He did a decent job with the farm system producing Utley, Howard and a few OK pitchers. Alas, he couldn't get them in the playoffs and that more than anything else led to his demise.
On the good news front, the Braves had a 5-1 lead and looked to be forcing game 5. Fortunately, they again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Has any team done so poorly with so much talent?
I like the Bolts by 5 tonight against the Steelers. 33-28 is the prediction with LT having a huge night.
