I've no idea how I found your site, but I am glad I did, if for no other reason than to read your Bob Dylan piece, No Direction Home. I posted my comment up here merely because I thought you'd never find it at the bottom of your blog.
I, too, watched the Scorcese film and I must say that I found Dylan inspiring. I have never been a fan; not even for one second. But the fact that he was NOT a pop-messiah; that he refused to conform; and that he wrote for himself ("Dylan wrote for Dylan" as you so aptly stated) impressed me beyond words. And his own musings, which you cite (from Laura Ingraham) about the public's expectations regarding his "role", are revelatory.
I've checked a few of your other posts and enjoyed them, though none so much as the Dylan piece. I am glad that your business is doing well, but it is too bad you cannot spend more time here, in blogland, as you seem to have a real knack for it.
Now, as far as Neil Young goes, well, I will have to be more thoughtful the next time I rip into him. (Actually, he does play a truly "angry" guitar. In fact, perhaps my favorite licks of his are on Warren Zevon's "Sentimental Hygiene". Are you familiar with that?)
My condolences regarding your beloved Phillies. Of course, the Keystone Cops who play home games at Fenway have left me shaking my head in foul - very foul - territory, so to speak.

Yes, I am familiar with Zevon's Sentimental Hygiene. Too bad Warren passed, but thankfully not before his epic final album.
