Grover Norquist and the Log Cabin Republicans

CNS News, who more times than not go overboard with their breathless reporting, has an article on Grover Norquist (whose mother would name a kid Grover?--ed) and a speech he gave to the Log Cabin Republicans:

( - A number of conservatives are seething over the fact that Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), was the featured speaker at a fund-raising event for a group of homosexual Republicans last weekend. One pro-family leader called Norquist's appearance "an act of utter betrayal."

Norquist was the main attraction at the "Grand Ol' Party," the largest fund-raising event of the year for the Dallas, Tex., chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans, a homosexual advocacy group within the GOP.

I believe that the Republican party is a way more accepting party than the Donks. That said, these "pro-family" types should just shut the hell up. So what if the man addressed a gay gathering? It's idiocylike this that is driving people from this party.

If the Democrats weren't so bad I could never support the Republicans.
