What I Hope Bush Says

W. speaks from LA this evening. This is a great opportunity to lay out the facts as to what happened last week. Tell the country what worked and what didn't work. Tell us what procedures were followed correctly and which weren't.

The strength of Bush has always been his ability to say what he means and mean what he says. The American people respect that.

I'd also like to see him smack down the media and pick apart the misleading statements they have been printing since Katrina made landfall.

Lastly, and most importantly, I'd like him to address the issue of race and make damn sure that the world knows that race had absolutely nothing to do with the perceived slow response.
