How to be Intellectually Dishonest

The world is upset that a battle-weary Marine shot a wounded terrorist who moments earlier had been shooting at said Marine from a mosque. Civilized nations are displaying righteous indignation that the US could be capable of such atrocities and butchery. How dare a US Marine shoot an Arab terrorist, Arab-Muslims are to be understood and lauded. Now Africans are a different story. Let's imagine this; a group of French soldiers opens fire on an unarmed crowd in Ivory Coast wounding unknown numbers, this would be huge news, right? I mean, a world power indiscrimanantly shooting at the indigenous population of a former French colony in a military action that is being conducted unilaterally. That would be huge news, right? Right? Wrong. The MSM is so bereft of moral character that they cannot bring themselves to slap the wrist of the French. Is it because it is the French who doing the shooting or is it because it is occurring in Africa and the victims are not "Freedom Fighters" as in Iraq, they are just poor black people who are trying to change their country? Or is it just because they are black people, period?
