Helping Kerry?
The NY Times is hurting unions and the "little guy":
NEW YORK, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Publishing company New York Times Co on Monday said it reached an agreement with its printing pressmen's union to slash jobs at two printing facilities by nearly 50 percent. The agreement covers New York Times pressmen at printing facilities in Edison, New Jersey, and Flushing, New York, the company said in a statement. Staff cuts will occur in two phases, with the first, more substantial reduction effective immediately. The job cuts are part of a new labor agreement that extends through the end of March, 2017. In that time, wage increases will be limited to an annual average rate of 2.3 percent, the company said.
I guess the times is all about the profit margin. How Republican. Well, at least they'll be doing their best to increase the low unemployment rate.
