NATIONAL CITY – A man driving a fake SDG&E van was hauling 1,500 pounds of marijuana when police pulled him over yesterday, authorities said.

The white van had been decorated with orange stripes down the sides and SDG&E decals on the doors, National City police said.

"We've never owned that van, and it was not our employee," said SDG&E spokesman Ed Van Herik.
