Run It On Saturday
The Inquirer has a great way of showing they aren't biased, they run headlines that reflect well on Bush on Saturday mornings when people don't pay as much attention. Good employment numbers are page 1, above the fold today. They also ran this devastating editorial cartoon. They run Abu Ghraib every Sunday through Friday and one or two items complimentary of Bush on Saturday. That's balance.
They also ran this letter:
Don't blame messenger
I'm so sick of radical conservatives' letters criticizing Inquirer editors for being "liberal" and anti-Bush. If commentary isn't to their liking, these rabid rightists attack the messengers to discredit them! As a registered Republican, I find The Inquirer's editors to be fair and unbiased.
Dave Hanson
Chadds Ford
This letter was probably written in the news room by a staffer. I have no problem with a newspaper leaning to the left or right. I do have a problem with them denying it.
