What the hell do the editors at the Inquirer do? Anything? How could they let this be written about Nick Berg:
Those who knew Berg, 26, remembered a son, a brother, a student, and a friend who was a complex man - funny, outgoing, dramatic, compassionate, inquisitive, inventive, extremely bright.
Above all, they remembered his concern for the world's have-nots and his desire to make the world a better place. Someone who would carve his own path in life.
Emphasis mine. Perhaps a better choice of words was called for in this case.
