The Brit photos of abuse are fakes:

Photographs published by the Daily Mirror allegedly showing British soldiers abusing an Iraqi captive "were categorically not taken in Iraq", Adam Ingram, the Armed Forces minister, told MPs last night.

The pictures caused an international outcry, damaging the reputation of the Army and inflaming tensions in southern Iraq where British forces are stationed.

Looks like it's contagious.
