I'm sure the Dems didn't want to hear this:

A new poll shows that most Florida voters oppose same-sex marriage

The poll conducted for the St. Petersburg Times and The Miami Herald found that a slight majority support civil unions for gay and lesbian couples.

Florida voters are also divided over President Bush's call for a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. More are opposed to an amendment than support it.

The poll was conducted March 3rd through 4th. It found that 65 percent of voters oppose same-sex marriage. Opposition was most intense in the Tampa Bay area, where 72 percent are opposed.

Kerry will be forced to deal with this issue eventually. I suspect he'll waver as usual.
