Another example of the utter hatred Liberals have of free-market capitalism:

Wal-Mart has always had critics, but the company's growing success in the grocery market has brought fresh howls of protest from America's liberal elites and those who parrot them.

Wal-Mart's foray into groceries is great news for regular folks, promising to help keep prices low and bring new competition to a clubby old industry.

Trouble is, Wal-Mart is now competing with traditional grocery chains and threatening the livelihood of union bosses flush with the dues of unionized grocery workers. These union fat-cats have mobilized America's liberal elites in a desperate bid to defeat union-free Wal-Mart not in the market but in the arena of public opinion.

Union forces threatened to shut down the Philly transit system over the weekend. What problem did the union have? It's workers were being asked to pay more for the employess part in healthcare. How much are they currently paying?

If approved by union membership and the SEPTA board, the deal would buy veteran bus drivers, cashiers, mechanics and other employees another year of prescription-drug coverage for retirees and no monthly health insurance payments.

No health insurance payments? You've got to be kidding me. SEPTA is facing a serious cash-crunch and they buckled to these idiots. Privatize the whole transit system. The Transit Workers Union can kiss my ass. SEPTA will be forced to raise rates. What is it going to cost the transit riders? Any increase in fares will have a detrimental effect on the underpaid, working poor. What of them Liberals?
