You know how Jews run Hollywood? You know you've heard it. How did this happen then?

A Palestinian film is among a record number of contenders for the foreign language film Oscar award.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences denied the same film "Divine Intervention" a chance at winning an Academy Award last year, saying it didn't recognize Palestine as a country.

This year, the academy included the film among the "record 55 countries in competition."

There were 54 countries last year.

Palestinian director Elia Suleiman's film was also denied entry last year, the academy said, because it was submitted by its French producer, Humbert Balsan, instead of a proper selection committee based in Palestinian territory.

"This year the committee decided to treat Palestine as an exception in the same way we treat Hong Kong as an exception," academy spokesman John Pavlik said. "It's always the goal of the foreign-language film award executive committee to be as inclusive as possible. And they always bend over backward to do so."

I guess they were too busy ruling the world as Mahathir thinks, they just weren't paying attention.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad today renewed his attack on "arrogant" Jews, saying reaction to his recent controversial comments confirms "they do control the world".

The veteran leader, who retires later this month, also criticised Western media, who he said took his comments at last week's summit of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Malaysia out of context.

"In my speech I condemned all violence, even the suicide bombings, and I told all Muslims it's about time we stopped all these things and paused to think and do something that is much more productive," he told the Bangkok Post.

"That was the whole tone of my speech, but they picked up one sentence where I said that the Jews control the world.

"Well, the reaction of the world shows they control the world."

Note to my Jewish friends, the only way you can successfully rule the world is to delegate more. If you had delegated out more responsibility, that Palestinian film never would have slipped past you. By the way, in most civilized countries, leaders don't retire, they are either voted out of office or are forced out by term limits. I guess it's different in the world Mahathir dwells in, most people in his position are either assassinated, sent into exile, or are overthrown (unilaterally) by the imperialist great satan.
