The only thing that could've made this better was if it was six-days earlier for my birthday:
California voters will get an unprecedented chance to oust a sitting governor in a recall vote against Governor Gray Davis on Oct. 7, the state's lieutenant governor said on Thursday.
Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante announced the date at a news conference in the state capital Sacramento. Oct. 7 is the last possible date allowed under California law, which requires the vote to be held on a Tuesday from 60 to 80 days after certification of the recall petition.
I predict that Riordan drops a good ole fasioned ass kicking on Gray.
