Let's see how my baseball predictions are holding up.
The Phillies are currently leading the wildcard by 1 game. They were beat up in Florida over the weekend and came back to the pack. I concede that they can't catch the Braves.
The Reds are horrific. They fired my man Bob Boone. They are out. The entire division at this point wouldn't win the wildcard.
The Dodgers have the pitching but no hitting, or at least run scoring abilities. I will not yet concede anything here.
The American League is different. It seems that I was right concerning the Yanks and Sox but who knows. The Sox are hanging tough.
The other Sox, the white ones, are still in it. They've made a few deals and it's a possibility.
The Angels are definitely a disappointment. Last year was magical for them. The Mariners are the class of the entire AL.
I predict the Mariners and my Phillies in the series. Hey, it's possible.
