French officials said on Friday they would attend a festival at Valley Forge to honor France's role in American independence this weekend even though organizers withdrew the invitation due to tensions over Iraq.

The weekend-long French Alliance Day festival is set to mark the 225th anniversary of France's decision to support American colonists in their war of independence against Britain.

Why would the invitation be withdrawn? Let them attend and maybe they will remember what France did when they had a soul.
