If you wish to join a fight that you are not involved in, you may come home this way:

Guns and roses on Tuesday greeted the coffin of Palestinian volunteer Thaer Othman, killed in Iraq on his way to fight U.S.-led troops.

Iraq said on Sunday more than 4,000 Arabs had arrived to "martyr" themselves in the fight against U.S.-led forces.

And this:

Palestinian, Lebanese and Iraqi flags flapped in the air at the funeral, where marchers held up pictures of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Palestinians in the camp, solemnly holding Othman's picture, said they saw him as a role model.

"I don't know him, but I am going to be like him," Maher, 11, said as marchers chanted in the background.

Maybe it's just me, but sending your children into armed combat, without training is morally repugnant.
