Harvard has put out a study suggesting that temperatures were warmer in the Middle Ages than now. The Right is jumping all over this as proof that Global Warming does not exist. Although I think that the GW arguments, on both sides, are inconclusive, I also feel that this is disengenuous. Emissions from fossil fuels do contribute to an increase in asthma and other respiratory illnesses.
The US must look at simultaneously enacting new CAFE standards and drilling in ANWR.

Update: Where the hell was the hotter sun today? I was in Hunterdon County, NJ and they got 4 inches in four hours.
