As a vet, I find this day to be a solemn yet special one. In the last eight years, we've seen many of our friends, husbands, brothers and sisters die fighting for our security and our freedom. They have not died in vain.We vets don't ask for much more than a simple thank you and a hearty handshake, so, if you know a vet, call them and wish them a good day and tell them of your gratitude for their service.
