Just how worried are the Israeli's and the US Secret service about this trip? About this worried:
The Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot reported that Bush was being accompanied by 20 armored limousines, 400 U.S. security personnel, 200 White House staffers, 15 canine teams, helicopters and transport planes. The newspaper said an aerostat that contains advanced sensors and cameras has been hovering above Bush's hotel. That is the equivalent of a small army.
Let's just hope that Bush's efforts turn out better than Clinton's did--the Palestinians began the al-Aqsa Intifada soon after talks ended at the prodding of peace talk attendee and former Nobel Peace Prize winner Yassir Arafat.
